The Forbidden Zone

No post-apocalyptic story is complete without a forbidden zone.  Mine is Toronto.  Although, the animals know it as Torontos.  This is mainly due to a translation error from an ancient human map.

As you may have noticed the scenery in Canada has changed substantially after the cataclysm.  Once the water was displaced and the wars were finished, the majority of the world resembled a desert.

Fishy Situation

After the Awakening the Fish had little social interactions with land animals, for obvious reasons.

As the Outer Rabbits’ technology began to be understood the Fish quickly developed new ways to become more land-based.  Their drive to interact with other creatures helped them excel in developing technology.  This earned them high respect among the animals, even gaining a position of influence in the First Ones Council (though it was well understood that no Fish were actually among the first awakened).

After the Cleansing and their participation in the Animal Wars against the Jungle Folk, the Fish lost favor with the Woodlanders.  They eventually went back into seclusion in the Northern Sea.
